A few years ago I met a Philippine women who had a family with an bigwig in the Vatican. He lived in Rome most of the time; she raised their daughter back home. They were both in NYC at the time with their family here, because their then-18 year old daughter had won a very prestigious scholarship. I promised not to reveal their names, but the Church is hypocritical!!
Celibacy reflects the Church's greed: it became law for monks in the Middle Ages so, in case they had children, their property wouldn't go to their children. Ridiculous!!
If the mag/gag party has their way, the women in USA could be under the same kind of thumb as these women they want us to go back back into the houses stop voting have more babies and honor the men as the head of household. No, we won’t go back, but the women in this story are moving forward
