Just because people are "finger-pointing" doesn't make them wrong, dude.

Cruz didn't seem to mind finger-pointing at Newsom during the California fires last year.

Is blaming only wrong when it's directed at you, Teddy?

Had one of my children, or family members, died in the Texas flood I would want far far more from Cruz than rhetoric. No wonder he didn't want anyone to call out the people that might have prevented all the deaths. Don't understand why Texans continue to let their MAGA Republicans continue to vote against common Texans' interests. Way past time for a change. Will it happen? Probably not. Cruz and Abbott need some serious consequences though.

I’ve voted each time to get rid of this guy. He is only in everything for himself. He literally makes me ill.

It wasn’t long ago when I watched a clip of Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson screaming at each other. I see that as a glimpse into the not distant future.

Given just about everything they’ve wished for, they are falling apart. Cruz and Tucker screaming. Trump badmouthing Putin. Musk and Trump dueling over rival social media..

In their supposed victory, the cracks are starting to open up. They believe they are the victors and are now swiping at each other trying to climb to the top.

They are of course all very easy targets. As POGO famously said in the comic section:

“We have met the enemy and he is us.”

As for the rest of us, stay focused on what matters,

Justice vs Just Us

People over Power.

Stay strong, take breaks have faith.

Democracy is a work in progress

not a done deed.

We are in it for the long haul.

Cruz prefaced his poorly written and poorly delivered remarks with a forceful, monotone of words with no meanings

He then said let’s not make this political! After it was clearly political theater.

Why is it that when people screw up, they always say it was God's will? God has nothing to do with it. He gave humans brains - it's not His fault that they can't use them. Responsibility lies not with the Almighty but with the failure of the humans who are too cowardly to face up to it! Depraved lie? Who are the depraved liers in this administration?

Cruz is the bane of Texas. We had a competent person, Colin Alred, running against him last year and the brain dead people of TX instead voted for Cruz again. He has proven so many times to not care about his constituents. Going to Cancun during the power outage crisis while many people froze to death; front and center of the Jan. 6 insurrection; writing out the 150 million for NOAA and then running away like the dog that he is to Greece. This guy is a disgrace and should be recalled. I hope that after this flood disaster where CHILDREN lost their lives that the people of Texas will finally wake up and get rid of him. The stupidity of the people in this state is overwhelming!

Cruz is absolutely the worst senator Texas has ever had. He couldn't even qualify as a moran.
