Well done, she must be over the retirement age. It should be a limit of how long someone is allowed to work, this is absolutely ridiculous to have these people working until they fall down, hired in government positions. It is cruel, imoral and damaging to the country. A new generation should be allowed to take over, serving between 35 -75, with a limit of 10 years over the retirement age, from any work, government or otherwise.

The DNC is completely OUT OF STEP with the everyman Democrat. They refuse to listen to what matters to the People. They continue to “take the high road” when the way of politics is messy as hell. They allow lies to become the truth. They naively believe that the GOP has empathy or humanity. They refuse to clean up their own ranks. David Hogg was right. We SHOULD primary those Democrats that don’t do the job of representing the People. And removing Mr. Hogg sends a clear message that the young voter has no voice in the current movement; that the status quo still prevails, even when it has left the building. The DNC must recognize that it is alienating its own future by doing this, and it must change.

I changed my party affiliation this year from Dem to Non Partisan precisely because the Dems are so out of touch with reality.

We are in the situation we are in, not because of Trump, but because of the Democratic leadership.

I thought David Hogg being a VP could start an awakening, but no. Losing Randi is another step backwards.

Nope. It’s Reagan’s 11th commandment. Republicans follow it; we don’t. It’s how and why they have the power they do. That and the electoral college.

Nothin more.

Nothing complicated. We form circular firing squads. They don’t.

If the DNC refuses to listen & discuss the differing opinions & concerns of its diverse members, & insists on following its old norms instead, it will cease to be of any relevance. (If it hasn’t lost it already)

Way to go. We will lose midterms if the Democratic Party leadership doesn’t change. Why are we allowing these oldsters to hold these seats hostage? How can the average person help foster the evolution of the party? Anyone have ideas??

The problem is not oldsters it is because the flow in the DNC is top down not bottom up

I’m so glad you highlighted Weingarten’s resignation from the DNC.

People need to see Dem leaders take a stand, so they can feel comfortable stepping up & saying:

“We should do SO much more to fight Trump’s fascist: “I’ll only be a Dictator on Day 1 — and all the other days of my 4-year term.”

Great post! 💫

We may need to start a 3rd party in order to regain control of FDR’s party.
